About Carol Estes
Welcome to Carol World....it's gonna be a bumpy ride. I'm one quirky girl with a camera. I found photography late in life, but now this girl is obsessed. I was born in Kansas, raised in Missouri, and moved an hour east of Chicago over 33 years ago. This background really reflects what I see thru the lens. I love "moments in time", architecture, structures, birds, and the amazing power of mother nature. I have come to this point in my life, with the amazing support and "unbiased" contribution of my friends and family.
I was fortunate to be selected to 2014 Hoosier Women Artists. One of eleven selected statewide, my cardinal photo, "The Jury is Out", is on display in the Lieutenant Governor's Reception Area for one year.
I have a work website: http://www.malldog.com (my day job)
Hobart Arts League 2013 exhibit received honorable mention for "Into the Mist", and I won a small award in my first Juried Art Show for "My Mrs, Robinson, Moment" (dyptich that includes my pinup photo) in November, 2013.
Since May, 2013, I have been accepted in more than 50 exhibits, and I am currently putting together a Mark Twain/Tom Sawyer exhibit for the fall to rotate thru the local libraries.
I am also a stock contributor on two stock photography sites.
